Folding Propeller

The Boost Fin Folding Propeller is a cutting-edge accessory designed to enhance your performance while minimizing drag during every session.

The propeller automatically extends when the Boost Fin is powered on, when the motor stops, the propeller folds away to help reduce water resistance and ensure a smoother glide through the water.

Key advantages

Less drag

It will provide decrease in drag, especially noticeable on smaller boards. For instance, with a 7-8 ft board, you'll enjoy a 20% or more improvement when downsizing.

Seaweed stuck prevention

Our folding propeller design prevents seaweed from obstructing motor rotation. The blades will self-clean after just a few on/off cycles so you do not have to clean it yourself.

Reduced resistance

When the blades fold, water resistance decreases even further, resulting in less drag when the motor is off.

Thrust adjustment

By removing one blade, thrust is reduced by approximately 10-15%. It means that thrust will become more balanced and the battery life prolonges around 10-15% correspondingly.

Note:

Boost Fin Plus and Alpha Board comes with the Folding Propeller included.
Folding Propeller can be purchased separately and attached to any model of the fin (Boost Fin Original & Long Range).

Installation Instruction

Spin the propeller cap counterclockwise. Hold the propeller and push down on the top with your hand until it unscrews.
Remove the standard propeller.
Unscrew the 4 screws to remove the old adapter (size: 2mm hex).
Then, install the new folding propeller and screw it in place the same way.
